Some of these wonderful animated stories made in Russia's Soyuzmultfilm Studio were first introduced in the United States by one of the world's greatest dancers. "When I was growing up there was a film studio in Moscow that produced extraordinary, award-winning animated films for the children of Russia",  - Mikhail Baryshnikov wrote presenting the animated series. "They were artistically beautiful", he reflected. "These stories were warm and inspiring. Exactly the kind of programs I want to watch with my children.
