Happy New Year, everybody, and welcome to our website! We originally created it for American families who had embraced adopted Russian children as their own. But we quickly discovered that it has a larger, much larger appeal. Our site became the first Russian children's store launched online in the USA, and now, five years later, we are still happy to welcome everyone who finds it interesting.

So take a look around: where would you like to start? At this time of the year you may want to check our post-Christmas sale. There are many exciting and thoughtful books, CDs, DVDs and calendars here. Audio CDs like "The Nutcracker" (in Russian), shown above, or "The Girl with Matches" (also known as "The Little Match Girl") by Hans Christian Andersen, displayed on your right, make excellent gifts, and not just during the holidays! Lots of books that you loved as a kid are now available in Russian, and many favorites by Russian authors were translated into English, too.  So keep browsing: you never know what you might find!

We have a section named Classics and Bestsellers, where next to the timeless stories and novels by A. A. Milne, C. S. Lewis, R. Kipling and alike, you will find lots of today's bestsellers as well. Wherever you go, don't skip the toy corner. A bunch of toys and dolls that speak Russian are there to greet you, with Cheburashka (shown on your left) being only one of them!  See who else may make a great companion to your child...

All in all, you can always find something special here - whether it's a gift for a child, a treat for yourself or a surprise for someone you care about.
