How can I pay for my order?
Payments are accepted online so you can use your credit card or PayPal account to pay for an order. Just add an item of your choice to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. You are also welcome to place your order by calling our toll-free number 1-800-990-9803 between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm Central Time or by emailing adoptedfromrussia@gmail.com.
For our customers living outside the USA and Canada: unfortunately, you won't be able to pay for your order on our website at this time. Please send a list of items you would like to order to adoptedfromrussia@gmail.com, and we will get back to you with a shipping rate quote and payment instructions. You will receive an itemized invoice via email and will be able to pay for your order through PayPal - by using your Paypal account or by credit card. It's not necessary, however, to create a PayPal account to make such a payment, and it takes only seconds to complete your payment online.
Finally, if you are in the USA, you have an option of mailing your order in: our address is Adoptedfromrussia.com, P.O. Box 170092, St. Louis, MO 63117, USA. When you mail us your order, you can pay by check drawn on US bank or by money order.
What forms of payment are accepted online?
You can pay for your order by any credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) or use your PayPal account if you have one. Attention of our customers living outside the USA and Canada: you will be able to use a credit card or Paypal account to make a payment - but you would have to email adoptedfromrussia@gmail.com first, for a shipping rate quote. At this time our shopping cart doesn't support payments from outside the USA and Canada, so we will respond by emailing you an itemized invoice through PayPal.
Is it safe to pay online?
Yes, it is. Every transaction made on this site is secure. We know that security remains the primary concern of online consumers. Our site is VeriSign Secure. You will be able to verify this before submitting any confidential information. We have partnered with Mezine.com and PayPal to provide you with secure shopping cart in our web-based store.
Do you charge sales tax?
Only if your order is shipped to an address within the state of Missouri, you will be charged sales tax. It's 7.825% at present time.
Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes, you are welcome to pay by check or money order if you prefer - this applies only to US orders, however. It might take a little bit longer for you to receive this order if you pay by check since checks must be cleared by our bank before we process your order. We only accept checks from US banks, in US dollars. There is no waiting period for money orders.
If I pay by check, how much the shipping charge is?
If you would like to pay by check, please make it payable to Adoptedfromrussia.com and mail it with your order to Adoptedfromrussia.com, P.O. Box 170092, Saint Louis, MO 63117. You can add all the items you are interested in to your shopping cart and print out the page to include with your order. You are welcome to send in a handwritten order with your payment as well, if you would like.
Please add $3.95 for shipping /handling for standard (ground) delivery and 50 cents per item - if your order contains any of the following: books, CDs, DVDs, greetings cards. If you are ordering at least one toy or game, the shipping charge is higher: it's $4.95 per order and $0.90 per item at this time. If you would like for your order to be shipped by Priority Mail, the shipping cost will be $5.95 for an order and additional 90 cents per item.
If you would like us to ship your order to any address within the state of Missouri, please add 7.825 % sales tax.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes, we do! If you are ordering on behalf of a school or library, you are welcome to submit a purchase order. However, some items listed on our website sell fast and we are not always able to restock them in a timely fashion. If your are concerned about the availability of the products you are interested in or may need multiple copies of the same book (CD, DVD, etc), please don't hesitate to contact us with your list ahead of time, before submitting your purchase order. Will you issue a refund if I return your product?
Yes, you will be issued a full refund, minus shipping charges. We want you to be happy with everything purchased on this site, and you are welcome to return a product you are not delighted with. You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery. Items should be returned in their original packaging and be in saleable condition. We will pay the shipping costs if you are returning an item (CD, DVD, etc) that turned out to be defective. Otherwise, you will be responsible for shipping your products back to us.
