This is a wonderful story that someone in your home may well relate to.. Archie the dog is thinking what awaits him when one morning his family leaves the house promising a surprise upon return. He is hopeful, of course, but not overly optimistic. He got a goldfish, a turtle and a rabbit in the past, but none of them could play with him and throw him a ball!
It turns out that Archie was right not expecting too much. The family brings home a baby named Max, who leads everyone to forget all about Archie. The poor dog feels left out: no one feeds him, no one pays any attention to him, and no one seems to care about him anymore! That's it - until little Max grows up to finally make that perfect friend.
