This is a rare collection of the most loved Russian lullabies recorded back in the 1960s - 70s and 80s.
They still are loved all over Russia - that's why this audio recording was remastered for this release.
These songs are: "Tired Toys Are Sleeping" (Spyat Ustalye Igrushki), Mama Bear's Lullaby (Kolybelnaya Medveditsy), "Sleep, My Joy, Fall Asleep" (Spi, Moya Radost', Usni), "Bayinki", "The Stars Are Bright" (V Nebe Zvezdochki Goryat), "Quiet Night" (Tikhoi Nochiu), 'Bayu, Varen'ka", "Svetlana's Lullaby" and others.
You will also hear "A Lullaby" (Kolybelnaya) performed by Maya Kristallinskaya, who was very popular in the USSR, and another lullaby presented by Anna German, a Polish singer who has been a true star in Russia since the Soviet times.
Russian version of Clara's Lullaby from George Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess" makes a nice surprise, too
