Tales for Bedtime: a 2-Audio CD Set

Price: $24.95
Availability: limited stock

This audio CD set is a real rarity. It contains some "forgotten" recordings from some of the best Russian storytellers - Nikolai Litvinov, Rostislav Plyatt, Vsevolod Abdulov and others.

They were made during the Soviet period when radio performances for little ones were extremely popular and well deserved all the love they could get from the audiences all over Russia.

Nikolai Litvinov's voice at that time was known to every kid! On this CD you will hear him read a few adorable stories for little ones  including "How Mama Bear Was Looking for Her Babies", "What Toys Do at Night", "The Little Grey Feather", "A Thoughtful Hedgehog", "About the Wind and About the Clouds"...

Another great actor, Vsevolod Abdulov, reads touching stories created for children by Sergei Kozlov, among which are "The Autumn Tale" and "Hedgehog in the Fog".

Put any of the two CDs on, and you may find your child completely taken by the magic of storytelling which is so much present in this audio recording.

In Russian language. Originally produced by the major Soviet Studio, Melodiya, between 1965 and 1983, these recordings were remastered for this release.

Recommended for ages 3 to 7 and up.
