A cute and naive teddy bear, Winnie-the-Pooh is as popular in Russia as anywhere else in the world.
Thanks to succesful series of animated films based on A. A. Milne's stories that were made back in the USSR, the Pooh Bear has been russified and brought to the highest level of popularity. Very few people would want to hear anyone else's voice as Winnie-the-Pooh but Evgeniy Leonov's - the actor who "played" Winnie-the-Pooh in the cartoons.
This audio recording is based on the mentioned animated films, so yes, Evgeniy Leonov is starring here as Winnie-the-Pooh.
