In this old Russian tale translated into the French language an old man asks his wife to bake him a roll. So she scraped up two handfuls of flour and made a roll, which she placed on the window to cool down. The roll, however, got fed up sitting on the window and rolled from the window down to the bench, then from the bench down to the floor. So very soon Kolobok (called here "roule galette") starts his journey and meets a rabbit, a grey wolf and a bear. And everyone wouldn't mind to eat him but Kolobok survives, until he meets that sneaky Fox. The tale keeps children wondering what is going to happen to Kolobok at the end...
