This is an English language retelling of the old Russian folk tale "Kolobok".
In this Russian tale an old man asks his wife to bake him a bun. So she scraped up two handfuls of flour and made a bun, which she placed on the window to cool down. The bun, however, got fed up sitting on the window and rolled from the window down to the bench, then from the bench down to the floor.
So very soon it starts his journey and meets a rabbit, a grey wolf and a bear. And everyone wouldn't mind to eat him but the bun survives, until he meets that sneaky Fox. The tale keeps children wondering what is going to happen to the bun at the end.
At the end of the book you will find a two-page glossary where the most common words used in the tale are translated from English into the Russian language. There are also some word games based on the tale.
