This is a warm and funny story about the value of true friendship.
Cheetah loved hanging out with Hippopotamus - telling him jokes at which he happily laughed. But he coudn't keep up with Cheetah when she asked him to run as fast as she does. So Cheetah decided to make friends with Ostrich who can run.
Poor Hippopotamus felt really hurt and kept practicing running until he was out of breath.
Ostrich who was good at running but didn't like to listen to Cheetah's jokes. So Cheetah switched to Giraffe who could run fast as well. Hippopotamus kept watching them gallop together and tried to run, too - but fell down with a crash!
Now, Cheetah tried to tell her jokes to Giraffe but he couldn't hear her well "from up there".
So Cheetah made friends with Hyena instead. That was really upsetting for Hippopotamus who missed Cheetah's company all this time...
This touching story will bring Cheetah back to her loyal friend Hippo at the end. Why? The story makes a good reason to talk to your child about what real friendship is all about.
