This DVD contains seven science fiction films made by Russian animators. Most of them are based on stories written by Russian authors (like A. Strugatsky and I. Tokmakova). But one of the films was inspired by Ray Bradbury's "Here There Be Tigers".
This collection of films is named after the 2-part series "Aliens" (which open the DVD) and were made in 1981 and 1983.
Other films are called "The Mystic Planet" (originally released in 1974), "The Lost Galaxy" (1989), "The Alien Mission" (1989), "From the Mortar to the Moon, and Further Without a Stop" (1990).
