This is a charming animated series about the Russian boy called Uncle Fedor who could read by the age of four and make soup by the time he was six. The boy leaves home when he finds a clever cat named Matroskin whom he is not allowed to adopt. The two meet up with Sharik, a sad homeless dog who is also able to talk. The three then set up a fine home in the Sour Cream Village. Here they meet a funny mailman named Pechkin... Meanwhile, uncle Fedor's frantic parents are trying to find their missing boy.
The good-humored cartoons are loaded with cockeyed problems and absurd solutions. It's a hit with children of all ages. A true Russian children's classic!
